I have a frustratingly small amount of photos of this project. The brief called for the Ben 10 character of Four Arms to be smashing through a British phone box. We bought a replica wooden phone box and build the sculpture with these dimensions in mind. The arms were removable, so we carved the body and head, attached the telephone box around the torso (it was sitting on a steel frame), and slotted the arms into the torso via apertures in the phone box. The sculpt itslef was sprayed with polyurea, then sprayed with a resin-filler mix, which we sanded with obital sanders. After painting, it was sprayed with multiple layers of two-pack lacquer to make it weatherproof. I spent my time on this job preparing the poly around the steel, carving the form, spraying the polyurea and the finishing.
